Join Gabriel and SMV Sitz- & Objektmöbel GmbH on 28 April 2026 for an in-depth seminar on fire safety in contract furniture. During the session, we will explore key standards and regulations related to fire classification, as well as national and international testing procedures.
Participants will gain insight into fire behaviour, smoke development in upholstered furniture, and strategies for improving fire safety while considering factors such as acoustics and sustainability.
A highlight of the seminar is a live fire demonstration, where different materials will be tested in practice. The session will be led by fire safety expert Ingo Bandurski, SIFA, certified fire safety planner and construction supervisor, and fire safety officer.
The seminar also offers the opportunity to network with industry professionals and experience furniture pieces first-hand in the ShowMobil.
