LCA/EPD
A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an evaluation of a product’s potential environmental impacts throughout its entire life cycle with respect to a wide range of environmental parameters such as climate, water environment, and health.
An Environmental Product Declaration is a communication tool that contains LCA results as well as information about the product and the methodological choices that underpin the LCA work. The purpose of an Environmental Product Declaration is – in line with LCA – to support market-driven environmental improvements. An EPD must be third-party verified.

Gabriel has published EPD documents on selected fabrics and also has LCA reports for a range of fabrics which do not yet have third-party verified EPDs. The selection of fabrics with EPDs will constantly be extended.
