This workshop offers an inspiring introduction to the latest trends in colour, materiality and perception, drawing on insights from the RAL COLOUR FEELING 27+ report. Through a mix of reflection and hands-on exploration, the session invites participants to discover how colour concepts can be translated into both visual and tactile experiences — opening up new ways of seeing, thinking and designing.
Working with the RAL DESIGN SYSTEM plus (RDS+), participants will be guided in developing contextualised colour concepts, while gaining a deeper understanding of how colour influences emotions, perceptions and the atmosphere of spaces.
The workshop unfolds as an open dialogue between theory and practice, where colour is explored as a thoughtful, strategic tool for conscious design and communication.
Participants will work in pairs, creating a relaxed setting to explore colour together with a colleague and exchange perspectives.
