COLOUR, YOUR WAY

Savak NU uni presents a colour palette that spans from softer, more balanced tones to more vibrant expressions. Each of the 22 uni colours has a matching striped counterpart in Savak NU, allowing solid surfaces and stripes to work naturally together.

Used on its own, Savak NU uni creates calm, uniform surfaces that define an interior with clarity.

At the same time, it can be combined with Savak NU to introduce contrast and variation. The solid colours provide a foundation, while the stripe adds rhythm and direction, enabling a more expressive and layered use of colour.

Whether used alone or together, Savak NU uni opens up different ways of shaping spaces through colour.

DEFINED BY MATERIAL

Crafted from 100% wool, the yarn is developed to create a softer surface and a more controlled expression. The name reflects its origin: “Savak” derives from the Greenlandic sava (sheep), while “NU” refers to something new, and to the present, and “uni” refers to the solid colour version. Every adjustment in material and construction shapes how Savak NU uni interacts with light, giving it a more precise and balanced appearance. The result is a textile that performs both visually and physically, developed for real interiors where light, movement, and use continuously shape the experience, and where design needs to perform, both now and over time.

A LEGACY CONTINUED

Originally designed by Tove Kindt-Larsen in the 1960s, Savak carries an intention that still holds. You see it in the construction, in the rhythm, and in the way the textile performs in use. In Savak NU uni, that intention is expressed through simplicity and control, where the material is allowed to stand on its own. It is not about adding more, but about refining what already works.
